The Maine coast has a “sex appeal” to travelers that is the envy of other destinations. Say “Maine” and people immediately envision tall white lighthouses atop craggy rock points, white sails billowing in a breeze – and they can fairly taste the lobster dripping with melted butter. It’s a tough image to match.
