A focus historical and cultural travel for the 50+ traveler included foliage in the Blue Ridge Parkway and a Canada/New England cruise from Montreal to Boston, barging in Alsace-Lorraine, a transatlantic cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2 and a Royal Rendezvous with the original Queen Mary while aboard the Queen Elizabeth. The history of the Hanseatic League and a divided Germany drew us to Northern Germany; Japanese cuisine and spas lured us to Japan. Victorian architecture of Cape May and Galveston & the only Frank Lloyd Wright home built with a disability in mind topped our architectural finds.
