Membership Regs

We are always seeking new talent, with quality markets. From writers, we currently require 25 clips from the past three years. However, due to rapidly changing markets we will give special consideration to candidates who demonstrate exceptional quality and high visibility in print and/or electronic media.

Photographers seeking membership must present samples showing an average of 25 published images per year over the preceding three years. Stock agency sales, with verification, are acceptable.

Guidebooks will only be considered as part of a broader membership submission. Submissions consisted solely of guidebooks will not be considered.

We accept story and photo samples in all media, including web links, but prefer quality pdf files over piles of clips. If creating pdf’s from clips is a hardship, send your clips.

THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE ALTERED BY THE EXECUTIVE BOARD IF DEEMED NECESSARY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TRAVEL JOURNALISTS GUILD.
